GGE on conventional ammunition stockpiles, first session

The UNGA resolution 72/55 (December 2017) requested the UN Secretary-General to establish a group of governmental experts (GGE) in 2020 to examine problems arising from the accumulation of conventional ammunition stockpiles in surplus.
The GGE will meet for three one-week meetings, which are scheduled to take place in January, April and July 2020.
