Meanwhile in New York, the Group of Governmental Experts on ammunition stockpiles will meet for the first time. The group was set up to explore the problems arising from the accumulation of conventional ammunition stockpiles. In Brussels, NATO’s Military Committee in Chiefs of Defense Session is scheduled to take place on 14 and 15 January to discuss the outcomes of the Summit held last December and to provide guidance for the development of necessary requirements to implement measures agreed then.
